Notre Dame in China: Alma Mater on the Great Wall

During Fall Break, the Notre Dame Handbell Choir's 14 ringers, led by its director Karen Schneider-Kirner, is participating in its inaugural China tour. The Choir performed at the inauguration of the Notre Dame Beijing Global Gateway on October 14, 2017. They are also performing at partner universities in China, including Peking University and Sichuan University and Catholic churches in Beijing and Chengdu. Between performances, they are learning about Chinese culture and history by visiting historic sites, such as the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. The Notre Dame Handbell Choir China Tour is organized by Notre Dame International and supported by Campus Ministry and the Liu Institute for Asia & Asian Studies.
