The Notre Dame Trail Concludes

On Saturday, August 26, 2017, more than 3,000 people joined 32 pilgrims who had walked over 300 miles from Vincennes, Ind., to South Bend following in the footsteps of Fr. Edward Sorin, the founder of the University of Notre Dame, to walk the final 3 miles of Fr. Sorin's journey. The Notre Dame Trail culminated in a visit to Fr. Sorin's grave in Holy Cross Community Cemetery, a stop at the Log Chapel for reflection and prayer, and a Mass on Bond Quad to open the Academic Year.
