Where We Belong

An education teaches us who we are in the world. It teaches us what we can do and what we hope to become. But most importantly, it teaches us where we belong.

The Notre Dame Multimedia Team created an extended version of the 2018 University of Notre Dame :30 institutional spot. They traveled to Beijing, China, to film students at the Notre Dame Beijing Global Gateway this summer. Megan Baumbach and Taylor Folwell, both class of 2021, worked at a media company in China this summer while Conrad Palor, also class of 2021, worked for the Global Gateway.

On campus, they followed Wenhao Yu, a student from Qingdao, China, studying at Sichuan University, one of Notre Dame International's main partner schools in China. He was on campus during the Spring semester and spent his summer conducting research with Computer Science professor Jiang Meng.

The music for this spot was produced by Alex Mansour, class of 2019, and the voice over was done by Brigid Harrington, class of 2022.
